Accessibility statement
This is a translation provided for convenience; the Hebrew version is the binding version.
Yalla Travel considers it important to provide equal service to all visitors, including people with disabilities. The Site was built in accordance with Israel's Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, and with Israeli Standard SI 5568, which is based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA.
What have we done to make the Site accessible?
- Semantic page structure with ordered headings (H1, H2, H3), lists, and tables with a header row.
- The page language and writing direction (English, left to right) are set in the code so that screen readers read the text correctly.
- Alternative text (alt) for all images.
- The whole Site can be navigated with the keyboard, with a clearly visible focus indicator and a "Skip to content" link at the start of every page.
- Sufficient colour contrast, a readable font with an 18-pixel base size, and the ability to zoom in the browser without losing content.
- Responsive design for phones, tablets and computers, and support for dark mode according to the device settings.
- The FAQ and the table of contents are built from standard HTML elements that also open with the keyboard and in screen readers.
- The Site does not use flashing content, auto-playing audio or pop-up windows.
Known limitations
- Advertisements (when shown) are supplied by a third party, and we do not have full control over their accessibility.
- Photo credit links lead to Wikimedia Commons, which we do not control.
- The Site's accessibility has been checked by us; it has not yet been audited by an external certified accessibility consultant.
We keep improving accessibility. If you run into any difficulty, we would like to know.
